We currently share our lives with three Ibizan hounds and a new Scottish Deerhound puppy.  My hounds have always seemed to enjoy wearing pretty collars and since I gave them as gifts, friends began to ask me to make more.  Thus- the beginning of Windancers Designs.

As a huntmaster for lure coursing, I always hated to remind handlers to wind the excess leash up in their hand to prevent an injury to their dog,  so I developed the “Quick Collar”- just a collar, a handle, and quick release snap. 

I have rediscovered my love of leather work and braiding.  Add to that the fun of adding some bling, and I am in heaven.
